The best food to feed your body – ACCORDING TO ME (and a bit of science)

I try to eat relatively healthy. I mean, I still love to eat hamburgers, ice cream and all the bad stuff that you can possibly put in your body.

BUT EATING POORLY FOR LUNCH IS OUT OF THE QUESTION FOR ME!

You guys already know, I drink my bulletproof coffee in the morning and therefore I don’t eat breakfast (which apparently is the most important meal of the day) […] Well friends, let me tell you what I think is the most important meal of the day.

It’s lunch.

Lunch is SO important. And I’m no scientist, but I believe that eating something super healthy in the middle of the day will increase your energy and productivity.

At least, it does the trick for me.

And so, you must wonder – what do I eat during the day? What is the fuel I put in my body to increase my mental energy?

SARDINES AND AVOCADOS MASHED TOGETHER WITH FRANK’S HOT SAUCE AND DIJON MUSTARD!

I LOOK WEIRD BUT SO DOES THE FOOD AND IT’S ABSOLUTELY GOOD FOR YOU !

This lunch fills you up with just the right amount of proteins, fats and deliciousness that you need for the day.

Sardines are not the most tasty food to have for lunch but the health benefits are huge. They contain energy, proteins, fats, calcium, iron and many more important nutritional value for your body. It’s also rich in omega-3 fatty acid, which help preventing heart diseases. It reduces risks of macular degeneration, basically it helps taking care of your eyesight. It helps out with strong bones, enhances a healthy immune system, boosts your skin care and so much more.

This is all thanks to my cousin Nate who has been following a very healthy lifestyle for the last five years or so and shared with me his keto/paleo secrets. Now you see, I used to follow a strict keto diet but the foods I would eat were not the right ones for me I think. I would choose food that I loved already, for example eggs or cheese or meat, and eat them everyday.

And maybe the fact that I started keto with something I loved was the problem and was the reason I failed at it?

Because, you see, I didn’t like sardines mashed with avocados at first – but I didn’t hate it. I started eating it because I knew it was good for me seeing how productive my cousin is everyday. And now? I actually enjoy eating it. Not for the taste, but because I’m excited about the aftermath of it. It’s almost when someone smokes weed because they want to be high? Well I love the feeling after eating sardines and avocado (avosardines for short).

I strongly recommend everyone to eat the avosardines because the effects for me are the same as drinking my bulletproof coffee – it enhances my productivity and my mental energy, which I’m obsessed with and craving for every day now.
