July 4th is a big day for Americans. Not only it is their Independence Day but it’s also the birthday of their very own hero – Captain America.
To help commemorate both special events, Chris Evans (who currently act as Cap America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) shared a tweet yesterday.
Back in 2011, Marvel fans caught Cap’s birthdate in one of the scene in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avengers where Steve Rogers tries to sign up for the armed forces. As he signs up, we can see that the Certificate of Acceptability from the Department of Selective Service (say that three times) shows July 4, 1918 as his birthdate.
So far, Evans has been acting as Steve Rogers in nine Marvel movies and will appear again in the fourth Avengers movie to be released on May 3, 2019.
