[Skincare Product Review] The Charcoal Cleansing Micellar Water

I never thought I was one to give a review on skincare or makeup products but here we are now.

As much as I try to focus on mental health related subjects or writing about anything that can enhance your mental health, I truly believe that I usually feel better when my face feels clean and beautiful.

I don’t believe that cleansing water is just good for people who wear makeup, but just in general for people who wanna take care of their skin.  So for all of you who aren’t using makeup everyday or at all, you should look into good skincare products.

The one I tried most recently is the Bioré Charcoal Cleansing Micellar Water. I actually got it yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised by how well my skin reacted to it.

You just simply put a little bit of this oil-free and hypoallergenic liquid on a piece of cotton and wipe it all over your face to clean your pores out or take the makeup off.

I wanna wait a few days for my skin to get used to it to see how great it is but so far I’m actually pretty happy with the results!

Also, using this product taught me something that I didn’t know – charcoal is apparently great for your skin and your hair!

When your pores aren’t clear, neither is your complexion. Activated charcoal–when used in a face mask–binds to dirt and helps pull it out of your pores, making them less visible (it’s the oil and dirt that makes them appear bigger)

Overall, charcoal will treat your acne, balance out your oily skin, heal irritations and cuts, add volume to your hair and much more!

I think I’m definitely gonna look into more charcoal products because I’ve only read good upsides on using them so far.

Do you use charcoal products? Let me know in the comments!
