Indeed, 20th Century Fox strongly believes that they could attract more fans (well, more money) by releasing a more teenage-friendly version of Deadpool 2.
The new edition, titled ‘Once Upon a Deadpool’ will be out for a limited time from December 12th until Christmas Eve. The movie will be featuring scenes from the original Deadpool 2 that wasn’t added onto that one and will have no violence or offensive language in it.
Actor Ryan Reynolds told Deadline that they will be giving $1 for each ticket sold to ‘Fuck Cancer’ to be renamed Fudge Cancer for this particular campaign.
“Fox has been asking for a PG-13 basically since the start in 2006. I’ve said no since 2006. Now, this one time, I said ‘Yes’ on two conditions. First, a portion of the proceeds had to go to charity. Second, I wanted to kidnap Fred Savage. The second condition took some explaining…”
